MABOROSHI PLOT
After the factory explosion, a small town is confined inside another dimension where time does not goes forward which means if you are of age 14, you will remain the same age throughout your life, seasons won't change. In this village there is a 14 year old boy called Masamune living his best life with his friends but soon reality hits him about this world and his world changes after he meets a girl called Itsumi. This movie is creepy and somewhat weird

Maboroshi is a new movie by the studio Mappa. Maboroshi means some sought of illusion, a phantom, a dream, or a vision.

OUR OPINIONS
THE GOODS:-
The good thing about the movie is its animation. Being from Mappa Studio it does not disappoint you in terms of animation everything is flawless and clear. The animators have really worked hard and did their part very nicely. The sound design was also good although there was not much of music in the movie but wherever you will hear it you will like it. Voice actors did their job pretty well especially the voice actor of Itsumi.
THE BAD:-
The story of the movie is really a let down of the movie, if the story would have been even little good and little less confusing than the film would have been more better for example the part where they tried to establish the love triangle but they mess ed it up and i was lost in the movie, than it took me a while to get things. The direction of the movies was also bit off.
MESSAGE OF THE MOVIE
The message of the movie which i can think of is that you should always try feel things and love each other in reality not in the illusional world. Which means the author wants us to come out of the social media world and love each others like before.
OVERALL:-
If the story was little less confusing and if the writting would have been little good than it would been a great movie.
