Ninja Kamui Episode 1 Review
Ninja Kamui Synopsis:-
Ninja Kamui is the story of a former Ninja namely "Joe Higan" who escaped his clan and is hiding in rural area of America from all the violence in the clan. He was living his peaceful life in the village but one night some Ninja's with mask on their face enters his house and kills his whole family but Joe somehow survives and knows who did this.
Ninja Kamui episode 1 review:-
The first episode is filled with action sequences and you cannot take your eyes from those action sequences. Of course we expect some good action scenes from the director of Jujutsu Kaisen but the actions in the first episode are so well made that you will replay them again and again. But you cannot run a show only on action, you need a good story to make those action scene hit you hard.
The basic story of the first episode is that some random Ninja guys are finding a man called as "Joe Higan" the former member of their clan. In the beginning they finds a man who looks like Joe and they fights with him but unfortunately he was not him, after that the Ninja clans finds many people who look like Joe but they were not Joe and after a long search for Joe they finally finds him and tries to kill him but he fight with them only to see his family die and in the end he also dies.
But somehow he wakes up in the hospital where he meets FBI agents who ask him if he saw the people who tried to kill him and his family. Joe do not gave a answer but he knew who killed his wife and the FBI officer who came for investigation also knew that, after which sets a female agent after Joe. Joe after waking up sees his dead wife and son. After which he goes on the rooftop where he encounters the Ninja but this time he kills everyone who came there to kill him and in the end we see Joe burning his house and wearing some strange mask.
Overall it was a treat to watch such episode, the action was superb and animation style was also good plus the bgm were also good as they were able to hype for all the action sequences.
What to expect from episode 2 of Ninja Kamui:-
Since it is a Park SungHoo directed series we can expect more action sequences, but it would be interesting to see how the story unfolds. I am excited for the next episode. It feels like we are going to see the planning of revenge of Joe in the next episode also we will get to know more about Joe and his past clan how did he fall out of the clan and many more.
Where and when to watch Ninja Kamui:-
Ninja Kamui will be premiered on Adult Swim and will be streaming on Max. The series is consist of total of 12 episode and second episode will come on Feb 18, 2024 and will be streaming on Max on Feb 19, 2024.
